Thank you for the clear explanation. I will dive in to (not literally) the waste tank issues (just ordered Ordorlos from Amazon). i will double check the Y valve for the front head and make sure it is wide open to the holding tank.
Now - when draining the holding tanks, I did have to move the Y valve. I am thinking this was to open the line between the deck top waste outlet and the holding tank... then closing it so the holding tank would not push up to the deck top waste outlet when I flush the head ..
Am I way off?
