Slow Page Loads

What's up with page loading? I seem to get timed out about 1/3 of the clicks. Other times it's just painfully slow.

Server Issue?

You're not alone. I've noticed the same thing. And I have a "done with errors" message at the bottom of my browers on all HOF pages.

When this site loads too slow, I switch to Mozilla Firefox from Internet Explorer, and PRESTO !! But, there is a default setting I cant find that wont let me "manage attachments" (load pics). Like on this right now! ... Back to IE! ws

i use Firefox most of the time... slow with FF too. uploads work fine with FF btw, no issues

I wasn't aware there was a problem. I can't tell internally that it slow so let me check the site from an outside computer and see what's going on.

Has it been slow for a while or did this just start recently?

Is it consistently slow or is it OK at times and slow at times?

I know we had some internet problems late last week that should have been temporary.

I first noticed it a few days prior to opening this thread. Was still slow last night. Seems to be better today.

Its on and off and looks like a problem with wherever is hosting the site...

My guess was that it was intermittent.

We are actually hosting the site here ourselves and we have recently had what appears to be some occasional latency problems with our outbound internet and VPN connections so I was wondering if the same thing might be happening coming from the other direction.

As you've seen, the forum is getting spammed to death and the volume has picked up tremendously lately. I am not sure if the two are related or not but I am looking at implementing some things that may help that and should have those in place this week so I'll let you know when I've done that so we can see if it helps both the speed and spam problems.
