Sirius Radio in the Bahamas

I would like to install Sirius radio (not weather) on my boat. I understand that officially, Sirius is not available in the Bahamas, but I've had someone tell me that the Bahamas are on the fringe area of Sirius radio and that people are getting reception over there. Can anyone confirm that or give me further insight to getting Sirius in the Bahamas? Karl
