Hello,
I did a newbie mistake today. I was under the PH helm cleaning and adjusting the cables. I was trying to fix the symptom where the throttle arm will move up and accelerate but sags right back down almost immediately. Byt that's anotber issue. In the process the tip of a cable got away from me and short circuited the shutdown button and it stopped working. The shutdown in the engine room still works fine.
I am assuming that there is a fuse somewhere that needs replacing. The glass fuses nearest the shutdown button all look fine. Could the fuse be located in the silver electric box in the engine room? Thought I would ask the forum, hoping that I don't need a new shutdown relay.
Thank you in advance.
