Does anyone on here have experience removing the shower heads from the exhaust elbow on the 6-71 TI?

I have slightly reduced water flow on the starboard side and the engine has creeped up to 185 now that the water has warmed up.

The heat exchanger was rebuilt and impellers replaced at the same time along with hoses. I suspect some trash might be blocking the waterflow at the head it's self.

Looking for some first hand experience.

Thanks!

It's pretty easy , just replace the clamp that holds the elbow to the turbo .

Oh, and how about the trans cooler ,inter cooler and fuel cooler are they clean?

pretty easy like the prior post, just take the clamp off. when you get them off look to see if you have any restrictions. if you don't run high pressure water in them and see if you get debris on the shower head then. I did that on mine. at first saw nothing, but when I ran the water I did get debris on the head. good luck
