Sweet.

I like the logos.

Hmmm.....And I thought that backlit panel was pretty cool.

Are the holes to the right for your engine screens?

Love the electronics.

Looking forward to seeing finished product.

This is going to be so unique. Outstanding look.

Its not mine. Its a project that Scott Bickwid is working on for a customer. I just posted as my own to see what kind of reaction I might get. I thought it was pretty cool.

Maybe he'll chime in here with the details.

None.... because most, if not all of us smelled a rat and were waiting it out........;););)

Just wait for Sky's new panels. I'm thinking he will have his done over the coming winter.

Well who ever is doing it is a lucky person. It would make any Hatteras look modern. Love the back lit option.

Looks like some custom work on the switches too. I'm wondering what all this sorcery costs.

Lagniappe's upper helm before and after a light tidy-up. There's a lot more to be done with the instruments, labels, etc., but it always feels better not to look at garbage while you work on other projects. Tidy-up consisted of repainting the console, polishing the plastic covers, cleaning the gauges refinishing the wood and then stripping, painting and polishing the control levers. It will do for now.Upper helm1.webpUpper helm2.webp

Damn that came out looking fantastic! Good work

Very nice work.

What a transformation. Well done.

That is a nice look painting around the gauges like that. A very nice transformation.

That’s very clever idea on the shifters and throttles. I was going to send mine out to be re-chromed and found it cheaper to buy brand new stainless steel shifters and throttles. I really like the way you put the black accent behind the gauges, very classy.

Thanks for the compliments! The throttle levers were pretty ugly. I wanted to replace them but couldn't find just the levers. The pot metal chrome was beyond gone and after stripping them down found that they were so badly pitted I needed body filler to get a smooth surface. Then it was just a high build primer and some chrome like paint. They actually came out pretty nice. The black paint around the gauges is to make them stand out for easier reading in bright sunlight-plus I just like the look. A full re-do is in the future but for now, it'll do.

Here’s one without the balls. You can find them with the ball just a cheap. Google Morse replacement shifters in stainless Steel. Good luck.

My compliments. Very nice.

I like the black on the dash as well. It kind of updates the look.
