Shout out to Schaefer Marine

Schaefer Marine, Ideal Windlass company in MA did a great job when I sent my vertical windlass in for overhaul. It came back brand new, all new parts with a newly manufactured gear case. My bearings and seals were bad. When I had a rough time getting the windlass out of the boat due to 5200 sealant they sent me a service bulletin on where to drill out areas to relieve the grip as well as how hard to pound on it
Pics of the windlass as removed, as received yesterday and now ready to install with a fresh coat of POR 15. Thx Schaefer.
