Shake Down Cruise from Aransas Pass TX to Seabrook TX

Friday AM at 0800 hours I pulled Country Girl (soon to be Aquamarine) out of Mile 533 Marine Ways in Aransas Pass TX for what turned out to be a fairly uneventful (Thank God) trip to League City TX and out new home on Clear Lake.

With the help of these two local boys we motored up the TX ICW.

Passing quite a few tugs in tow and a few not in tow.

On day two (Saturday) we were in and out of fog, but the sun shone as we approached Freeport TX.

I took full advantage of the skilled boat drivers, and sunshine to jump on one of the numerous projects, prepping the 45 year old teak rails for maybe Alwood?!

As we pulled into our new slip seems to be a very big party in full swing 2 slips away, and we quickly joined in the festivities. Of course I told the crew I set it all up for them...don't spoil it for them!
