Sea Strainer basket replacement

I have 4 sea strainers on my 1978 53MY for A/C cooling, heads, etc. that all have a 6" by 2" stainless basket that needs replacement. The bronze top cover only has "S64" stamped into it. Any idea what brand it is and how to get replacement strainer baskets?

Probably a Groco or a Perko. If Groco it may be Monel, not SS. Monel is better I've heard. Call Groco, who are in Hanover, MD, and they can tell you if it's one fo theirs...with Perko, good luck.

Groco will send a catalog, or go on their web site for parts...I like the catalog better (winter reading). They will sell you bits and pieces, plus seal kits, or you can get the same from SAM's...
