Rupp Antenna Collar- How To?

Sorry for a dumb question but how do I release my Rupp antenna collar from the upper standoff to lower the antenna? I suspect it must unscrew somehow as I see plier marks on the black plastic part from the PO. I am replacing the antenna with a new SSB antenna and am using the same mounting hardware and standoff other than having bought a Rupp two piece antenna collar to use with the new SSB antenna.

just push the black plastic up allowing the antenna to come through the gap

I had the same issue when I first got mine. You have to turn it so the tab on the bottom lines up with the opening in the bracket. Then slide it up.

The tab at the bottom right goes in the outside slot and the collar lifts up
