running gear question

I thought the underwater running gear (rudders, struts, rudder ports, shaft logs) on Hatteras yachts in the 70s were supplied by Buck-Algonquin. (B-A does list a rudder which appears identical to those fitted to my 1971 36C). I was advised that Hatteras never used B-A underwater hardware. Does anyone know who supplied this hardware to Hatteras yachts, back then? Thanks.
