OK, I have rewired about 75% of my boat, and so far I have found a way to run these wires. I was replacing my forward bilge pump and switch which is just aft of the v-birth on my '69 45C. As I spliced into the original duplex wire, I noticed the black corrosion on the copper wires and it didn't stop for a few feet. My problem is how can I run a new wire up there from the engine room? The old wire goes from the centerline to the starboard hull wall, and it's wire tied every 18" across beneath the floor and on the hull. Short of tearing out my galley cabinet backs, I am scratching my head.
