Looking at questions over on the FB Hatteras pages and there are more than a few. It’s apparent that most of these people don’t either have the factory manual or are too lazy to read it. I helped Randy move a 58 my to Tennessee a couple years ago and first thing I did was find the manual and familiarize myself with the systems. Hatteras did a great job with the manuals especially starting in the 80’s. I wonder if you can still get them since Hatt is not looking to good these days

Although no where near the popularity of muscle cars, Hatteras yachts likely could support a service similar to Pontiac Historic, the Marti report and mopars Galen's tag service. I doubt all the old files are of much long term value to the get rich quick set seemingly everywhere these days

The manuals were long gone when we acquired Pau Hana in 2020, and Hatteras was less than no help when I reached out then. Everything I've pieced together has been from this forum, the Trawler forums, and my old Coastie friends of the engineer variety.

Sams is who should be trying to get these files. If they struck a deal with Johnny to move a few file cabinets into their offices, they could then sell copies to owners. It would be one transaction for Hatteras instead of the nuisance of many owners calling them.
