I guess I'll just keep quiet and go sit on my dock queen and let the real boaters speak from now on. After all, I don't want to take a chance that I spill my champagne while tanning in the cockpit. That is what it's used for, isn't it?

I'm just glad that we were all able to make fun of this thread at the Hatteras Owners School. Try looking at the profile pictures of both an enclosed bridge and an open flybridge 60C. The only difference is the hardtop and aft bulkhead. Windows and flybridge housing are almost identical.

In the meantime, rsmith, relax and go buy a boat or something to take up your time because this has gotten too ridiculous and the reason you keep getting bashed is because you only need to state your opinion once and then get off of your soapbox. Afterall, everyone thinks that their opinion is absolutely correct. The smart ones are the ones that are willing to accept other people's opinions as well.
 
Not to string this out way past where it should have ended, but something you might be interested in. I just helped deliver a 68 ft. Knight and Carver, 50 ton pilothouse boat from PV to San Diego. For those on the East Coast, this is a well respected yard out here in Calif. that builds custom boats. The boat has a low profile and is stabilized. The owner has made the 2200 mile round trip every year for the last 15 years. We had 25-30 kts. on the nose with 5-7 ft. short interval, stacked up swells from 150 miles south of Cabo to Ensenada. So we basically got our ass kicked for 1000 miles. I have made this exact same trip on our 60 EB 5 times over the last 6 years and our boat rolls and pitches about much, much less than the pilothouse boat did. I am out of the slip about 75 days a years when not in Mexico. I can just tell you from alot of sea time up and down that shitty Baja Coast that the ride in this very well built pilothouse boat wasn't even close.........Ross
