i used it on the tower this weekend with good results. I did not follow directions as I applied it with medium bronze wool. It went on well and seemed to remove lots of schit. I have a pic attached and you can see the change. I will follow up as far as longevity down the road.....

I've used it for the past two years and it seems to be the best around - lasts about a year before it needs serious cleaning again esp. if you use wax after the cleaner

The sun would not let us get a good pic but if you look at the top 1/4th of the pipe you will see what it looks like after and the lower 3/4ths is before. I can not imagine yours could be any worse than ours. The leading down tubes were white . This is by far the best results of anything else we have tried. The stuff is $40 but well worth it and a little goes a long way! I did not put the 2nd step on it yet as I am going to apply Woodys several times in the comming months hopefully getting the worst parts even better.....

If your piping is oxidized & cloudy white before the application of Step 1, I wouldn't bother with Step 2 -- it'll go back to looking just like it did before. Just use that Step 1 penetrant and be prepared to just use it regularly. It's easy enough, so no big deal.

Again, if you like what that does, you'll probably like Rupp's Alumaguard even better...same idea, just a little thicker & longer lasting than WoodyWax Pt. 1.
