Looks nice. I am looking at teak with dark strips (have maple interior). How did you cut the material and how hard to do the glue part?

We bought the Lonseal material and the glue from Defender online. I did not do the install myself. My carpenter did it. He made a brown paper template of the floor, being careful to strike a line for alignment of the "stripes" in the flooring. In the aft head, nothing quite lined up with anything else. So we made decisions about what would look best. I believe that the glue is an epoxy based product. He mixed it up, troweled it down and dropped the pre-cut pieces of Lonseal in and rolled it to get the air out. We did go right over the existing original Hatteras linoleum which was mostly pretty tight. We did do a little bit of re-gluing on the old floor to tighten up a few hatch edges that were not so tight. We refinished and re-used the original molding around the edges. We did not use any trim around the few small hatches. We cut the flooring tight and I think it looks good that way. I'm very pleased with the finished job.

Thanks for the insight.
