Removing old heater hose crud....

Okay, I am pulling all of the hose that runs for the diesel heater... Need to rework it to troubleshoot the system anyways.... Almost a full rebuild grrr... But i am having to cut the hose off the fan units.

While doing so, the hose leaves a bit o the rubber behind. Anyway to get this off before I put new hose/tubing in?

wire wheel on a grinder motor. do it all the time to remove old gaskets etc

Install the new hose, with, you guessed it... never seize... ws

LOL, I am considering pex for this as well... Question, if i can't get a wire wheel in the space?
