Redneck Riviera HOF'ers

Just thought I'd put out an invite to anybody in the area as I'll be headed to Navarre Beach this Friday for about a week before heading down to FLIBS. I've already made tentative plans to meet up with Traveler45c and maybe even No Hurry, so maybe we can converge on a good seafood restaurant or whatever between Pensacola and Destin.

If nobody else is interested, just tell me where a really good seafood place is in the area that I haven't found yet, and I'll report back on what you missed.

After consulting with my Events Coordinator, anytime Sunday works for us. We've got two halloween parties Saturday night, an early one for our 7 year old and a late one for us. So we may be moving a little slow on Sunday morning. Going to Destin for a Bloody Mary (or two) would be great. Let us know when and where and we'll be there.

Sounds good Benjy, I'll have my 6 year old so maybe we can make this a family thing if that works for you. I'm totally open for suggestions for a meeting place as I'm sure you're more familiar with Destin than I am. Maybe a brunch thing would work.

Hey I'm in Apollo Beach around 10 miles south of Tampa and 5 minutes off I 75 2 Hats in the back yard 2 kids in the the house what more could you ask for!!!

According to the latest Navionics update I just uploaded to my iPhone, I'm about 500 miles off the coast of Nigeria in the Gulf of Guinea. Dorothy, I have a feeling we're not on the Redneck Riviera anymore.

Looks like we've got a plan. Crab Trap on Okaloosa Island at 11:30AM. Sounds like we'll have 3 HOF'ers to join us. The weather is a bit chilly, and it's overcast, but maybe we'll venture out to someplace else afterward. Trav said something about a dolphin molesting cruise.

A quick thanks to Trav for setting up the dolphin cruise after lunch. It was good to see Benjy again while meeting his better half, and I finally got to meet PoohBear who came down to join us. You guys think I talk a lot, I have nothing on Karl!

Seriously, I'm glad I finally got to meet Karl as our prior attempts at meeting up just never worked out. I'm thinking about stopping by the local Best Buy to buy him a little something to commemorate our first face to face meeting. I'll let Karl explain that one! LOL

Yup, we had fun watchin' and playing with the dolphins. My buddy skippers a 65' tour boat, Randy's little boy got to drive for awhile, after the big kid was done

I gotta' again say sorry I was late getting out there for crabs and missing all the fun at the table.

Guys, I also enjoyed meeting you and putting faces with names. Trav, thank you very much for the offer of the dolphin cruise. I'm sure it was fun. I wish Cassie and I weren't on timeline yesterday, but we had to get back to PC to pich up our son. Hopefully next time we can get together for a whole afternoon and/or evening.

Darn, just came out of Mobile Bay and am sitting Biloxi waiting out the weather. Would love to join Ya'll but the Admiral wants to get back to the real Red Neck Riviera the Texas Gulf Coast. How red neck are we? Our coastline is so barren that if you can find a tree to tie up to at night while in the ICW we call it a Marina.
