  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
40' DOUBLE CABIN-Series I (1986 - 1989)
I have a NIBRAL 24" wheel that needs some loving (repair). I'm temperarly in Fort Lauderdale and wondering where would be a good place to get it fixed. Looking at value for money paid.

Straight out Hy84, Lauderdale Propeller Service
2990 W State Road 84. Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33312

For many years treated me very well.
Continued to treat my customers great.

When not in S FL, I use Treasure Coast Propeller in Stuart.

I truck my props here.

There is nobody left in N/E Fl.

Sadly, there is no such thing as cost reduced (cheap) prop repair.
These kids do make repairs correctly.

I've had good luck tapping out small dings my self. Your wheel really damaged or just a dinged ear?

Dominey is still around, but they're in Georgia so they send a truck once a week. You send the props off and they come back the next week.

The best value repair shop is probably In Canada.

There's a few great shops in the area but none I know of doing low cost work.

Let me re-phrase this more correctly.

There is nobody left in N/E Fl, S/E Ga worth a sheet.

Oh, I got it now. What happened? They've always done what I thought was a decent job for me, although they take off more metal off than I like for those non-singing edges they do.
