Re-visiting old threads

It was an excellent suggestion to revisit old threads. I have noticed a couple already and IMO it sure beats the hell out of some of the nonsense that has been posted here and helped cause hard feelings between some of our valuable members. Of particular interest was the issue of steam out of an engine on Pascal's boat. What was the ultimate resolution of the problem?

I have not been here in a long time, its good to see old friends, it would be kinda sad if those members in the older threads have passed away.

I remember one forum where such a thing happened, a new poster took up on an old thread blissfully unaware the OP had died, kinda weird in a way, like a radio message beamed into outer space.

Pascal's engine is still broken as far as I know, but it is kind of fun to take these little trips back in time. Maybe we should all go back a year or two (or even more) and bump our favorite threads. It would be like going to a family reunion with a dysfunctional family.

Seriously, I for one have had some very good times both online and in person as a direct result of this forum. I sure hope nobody takes objection to that comment and turns it into another circus.
