OK...now I'm bragging...but I thought her overall condition was a 9-10... She was one special 58 Yacht Fish..

She was pristine in every respect.

I think you have every right to brag! Beautiful. What did you use on those handrails? Jon

She looks more like a 10 than a 9, you must have worked hard to get her that pristine.

You had me on board one day when you were showing her to a couple of guys. She was a 10!

Beautiful. Thank you for taking care of her.

Thanks all. I miss the old girl. The rails and warmish work were all about a dozen coats of old fashioned Captains Varnish. Everything got a fresh finish coat every 90 days. All the paint was waxed every 90 days too. But it looked sharp!

My Yachtfish. Has 8V71TI's. I love them. The boat could use another 100 or more horsepower but generally cruise at 10 to 12 knots for fuel consumption. The cockpit makes it significantly easier for my wife to handle the lines. She is not athletic and I probably would have had to sell a 53 if I had bought one She's very happy and will only let me buy a cockpit motor yachts.

There is no doubt that a cockpit is great for water access to swim, get in the tender etc but I don't see how it helps for line handling. Whether backing into a slip or tying alongside, all but the sternlines are well beyond the reach of a cockpit.

It helps getting on and off the boat onto a floating dock but most fixed docks will too high so you ll have to use a ladder, step or stairs

That's a beautiful boat and just like us it is good to see that you still have that original loran. The Smithsonian Museum keeps calling me to try and get mine to put on display but I have been holding out. Ha ha, John

Really? Somewhere I have probably the last unsold Northstar 800X loran on the planet. Never been used, as far as I can recall.

When I bought PIZZAZ there was even a new spare aboard still in the box. The video depth sounder on the bridge had the graphics of an Old Donkey Kong Arcade Game! At the lower helm I still had an old Furuno Radar with the green CRT screen! 1979 Everything! And it all still worked!
