Thank you Robert and Jim once again for the kind words.

The only problem with a nice new swim platform is it's going to make the rest of my boat
(with the exception of the engine room) look desperately in need of a paint job.

That's a project for another year though ;)

The swim platform project has finally come to an end.

Many thanks to all who followed and commented along the way.
And a big thank you to Dan for creating the basic mold in the
first place, and for never letting up the pressure on me to get the job done ;)

Here are several shots of the finished project. I'll try to post some more in a few weeks once
the boat is in the water.

Good looking work! Thanks for sharing the process with us!

Lot of work... but it looks better than too much money can buy, and it will last longer. Very nice.

Excellent work, as always. Thanks for taking us along for the ride.

It's inspirational. Makes me want to do a big project too. I think I'll replace my aft bulkhead. ;)

I am glad it worked out always like to see it used more than 1 or 2 times.
Thanks for getting it done Now I can pressure you to do the Deck :D

Uh oh. This could get real interesting.

It took a while to get a pic, but here are platforms #1, #2, and #4 all rafted up at Block this past weekend.

That’s really nice looking stuff. Wish I had the skill to redo mine.

Very nice looking. My platform is too narrow, period. Filing this info.....

You mean the wooden one, right? I've been trying not to think about that. I suppose at some point I will have to do that, too. Not looking forward to it.

That's the one.

I'll give you some advice. Make sure your windows don't leak and you won't need to replace the bulkhead.

They don't leak, but some of the paint is cracking off it. I'll have to sand it off, but I'm not looking forward to what I find there. No indeed.
