QE2/QM2 world cruise

jan, 10 both the QE2 and QM2 leave port everglades at 5:00pm on world cruises, good viewing from fort lauderdale beach jetty-kind of like a really huge classic hatteras and a really huge carver side by side

I saw the QM2 when it first made port at Port Everglades, and I tell you what -- even with the crazy-high security protocols that kept you hundreds of yards away, my Hatt never felt so little. That thing was HUGE! If I remember correctly, it displaces 150,000 tons...that's like 50% more than a Nimitz-class carrier, right? If I recall correctly those were about 90,000 tons. That's pretty amazing.
