Hy Torq's resized 092714.webpI have two sets of props for sale

29" X 34" Hy Torq's, medium cup, 4 Blade 0.675 DAR, 2-1/4" shaft. These props have roughly 1850 Hours and were reconditioned, but barely used (60 hours) in 2014. Asking $3,000
These props are immediately available and I have the original specification sheets along with the prop scans.

28" X 35" DQX props, medium cup, 4 blade, 2-1/4" shaft. These props were new this year and have roughly 200 hours on them. asking $6,000. These props will be available once I pull the boat out of the water for the season.

What are you putting on her, just out of curiosity? Did you upgrade to ZFs or Veems?

Not sure ZF's or Veems is necessarily an upgrade. Veems are hugely expensive and hard to justify the cost. I think I'm going back with the Hy-Torq's as they have performed very well. I run at 1900 RPM and roughly 27.5 - 28 knots at 75% load. I need to speak with them but if I can get a similiar prop with a higher DAR, I think that should give me the extra knot I am looking for. My 45 performs much better at 28-30 knots then at 26.5 which is what I got with the DQX experiment. I've put 4,200 gallons of fuel so far this summer, so If I can get an extra 1-2 knots, i get there a little sooner, and back a little sooner, saving a modest amount of fuel, but it's more about the performance of the boat at cruise and while trolling for white marlins.

These are great prices for terrific low hour props.

Damn, you did a lot of fishing, didn't you. I'm jealous.

Great prices.

In the spirit of supporting SAMs and maybe a wider audience, don't forget to also offer them at http://www.propellerplace.com

Your boat is extremely nice,

I would think your are running a 1.74 gear ratio ? I have a good friend who had c12 in a series 1 45.
He cruised @ 26 knots and 28gph. Is your fuel burn close to that? I am in the process of repowering my 46HP. Ray at Atlantis propeller gave me a price on Acme props. they have a dba 0f 8.

Thanks for the compliment.
yes, I am running that ZF gear. 1.75. At 1,900 RPM I burn 45 GPH total.
I don't know if the 46 has enough down angle to fit a bigger prop.
