SOLD - Power Windshield Opener $50
Power Windshield Opener for a boat that opens the center panel of a 3 panel style windshield. This came from a late '60s Egg Harbor and the same unit was also used by Pacemaker and Alglas. I was going to install this on my Chris-Craft 381 Catalina but sold the boat before I had a chance.
The power windshield opener has three major components:
1) Stainless steel cover.
2) Window regulator motor and linear chain drive mechanism with two individually mounted limit switches (this gets mounted to the deck).
3) Chrome and stainless steel V-arm assembly that attaches from chain drive to the bottom corners of the center opening windshield panel.
The overall dimensions are 36.5" x 8" and note that the front of the cover is beveled to match the angle of a deck mounted windshield. It appears this bevel could be modified or squared up to suit the application.
The window regulator motor is a typical Delco unit from the era.
Note the two limit switches can be mounted to suit the desired fully opened and closed positions of the windshield.
Willing to ship at purchaser's expense. Located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Asking $50 USD
I have additional photos and measurements, please ask if you are interested.
