Where is your fishin' pole there Bill Dance? Go Gators!

Pics like that make me miss hunting season up there. :( It sounds like a good trip.

Hey, I took the fighting chair off the bow for this trip, so I left the poles at home!

Yeah, Go Gators Go.....to the ACC where you really belong! Florida ain't in the southeast, they must be embarrassed over Gator fans too and donated them to us in the SEC! :D

Hey, what happened to the earlier pics?

Did something change when I went from my desktop to my laptop?

Is SOMEBODY messin' with me again?

I'm going to lunch.

Hey, the pics are back! What the heck happened? Was it a guilty conscience of an act of God? :D

I think you over loaded the sites computer  It was only a matter of time :D

Beautiful boat, Randy. She looks like brand new in the pics. I can't imagine you'd have much trouble selling her. Maybe it's that roof air unit that's holding those serious buyers from pullin the trigger on this one. :D But, seriously, I don't know if I have seen a cleaner boat of that vintage, ever.

Hey Sky, ole' Nancy Cay is something special. If she were a woman, I would marry her!

Yeah, the roof air is kinda cheesey, but it works great! I made the same comment to the old fellow I bought her from. I can't imagine going to the expense that was involved in the metamorphosis of this old girl only to take the easy way out to cool and heat the new enclosure. I've thought about changing that because it really does detract from her lines a bit. But hell, it's just one little flaw in a classy lady.

Oh well, nobody and no boat is perfect. Sometimes it's better that way. I can assure you, if you ever had the chance to take her for a spin, that roof air unit would be the last thing on your mind.

You're probably right, but I couldn't resist the opportunity to take a jab at the master after your "woman v women" comment. I thought maybe you just took that thing off yur doublewide and stuck it up there. ;)

Naw, my double-wide has window shakers! :D

They come in real handy though cause you can take 'em out of the guest room when company comes! That's one way to guarantee a one night stand!!!

You know, I hate to admit it, but my 58TC had two window shakers in it when I bought her. One in the lower salon, and one in the master. Don't ask me why. They actually vented into the area between the hull and the interior wall, and the rear unit in the master even had a blower installed to suck the hot air out.

That was almost as impressive as the built in chester drawers that were made of white particle board that were definitely mobile home take-outs. The really funny part is some PO paid good money to have this piece of crap professionally installed. Whoever did it did one hell of a job. I liked to never got than damn thing out!!!

Needless to say, Freebird is a far cry from Nancy Cay in every respect. But that will change in time.

Now, ain't this a whole bunch more fun than worrying about the "degradation of this forum by the primary offender"? :D

Hey Dick.... I mean Sky, ;)

I forgot to say thanks for the comments. You made that comment yesterday, and I just started running off at the mouth without a proper thank you. I may be crude and rude, but I do have good manners. They just get a little fogbound from time to time!

Kinda like when you tell the wife, you sure do look purty tonite, and she replies, yeah, I know! :D

Mr. Sky is right, ADDBIRD...the thing that's bothering me, though, is HOW you've managed to keep her looking this good when you're spending all your available free time in Florida. You got a big budget for a cleaning crew up there in Tenn or something? Still, it's good to see. Maybe there's hope for you, after all. Get that TC looking like that in 3 mos. and you're the man. ;)

Hey JB, ole' Nancy Cay is like a "real" purty girl. She can go out without make-up on a moments notice and still look good! I hate to bust your bubble, but she was in sad shape as far as being her usual spiffy clean self. If I had taken some real close up shots, you would be able to see the spider ship that goes along with being in TN under a covered slip.

As for Freebird, my mechanic is making real progress. Blowers are okay, sleeves are black, but it's all going to be replaced anyway. We'll see about injectors and stuff later in the game. I'll post a thread to keep you and all interested parties in the loop.

I really am looking forward to laying some wood and carpet, and replacing the headliners. Then I'll throw in some new ultraleather and a "bare" skin rug, hang a bass and duck on the wall along with a deer head, and I'll be set.

Has anybody ever put a fireplace in one of these things?

Hey all you tech types, how come my pictures keep disappearing and then reappearing?

Pascal, are you messing with me? :D

Randy. nice boat, post some detail photos. inside , out and engine room.

Now for a Freebird poke,,, saw a thread on tech side that was about Seacocks and i though of you :D

LOL Seacock? I kinda like that! It does worry me just a litte bit that you think of me when someone throws that term out! :D

That would be a pretty good name for a boat especially if you put a picture of a big muscle bound rooster on the transom beside the name!

BTW I saw your Halloween pics! Say hello to Daddy Ted and Mamma Alice for me, would ya? :p

One of the pics of that boat that was 6' wide and like 40' long had a pic of a wood burning stove inside

Hey, I've got some dandy pics of such things, but I don't have the disc with me. They're on my hard drive on my computer at home. I kinda hate to post them though seeing as how I have taken her off the market. It'll make some would-be buyers "see" sick! I'll put some up for ya'll this evening. That is of course unless Mamma kicks me out again before I can download them!

Unfortunately, that wasn't a joke! We got into a good one last night, and things ain't pretty. Truth is, I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired  . Oh well, I've got my office computer, my laptop, and two good homes away from home. What else could a man ask for?

Maybe I'll just "kid-nap" the young 'un and head for FL!!!!

Was that the picture of my pontoon mounted mobile home that surface on my birthday thread? :D

Hey, I have to have a fireplace on Freebird. Otherwise, my deer head is going to look stupid just hanging on the wall! :p

I say hang it off the bow :D

Naw, that would be stupid! Besides, it would interfere with my fighting chair!

You know, I've seen those free-standing units at the Homeless Depot. I could get me a polished stainless steel smokestack. Better yet, I could put in a Y and have duals, one coming out of each side of the salon windows.

Hell, it wouldn't only be pretty, it would be functional. Besides making things warm and cozy, I could roast weenies and marshmellows from the comfort of my own sofa! Hey, that would work well in conjuction with my refrigerated end tables. I can wine and dine the ladies and never have to get off the couch!

Then, when the weather warms up, I could relocate the fireplace to the bridge for outdoor entertainment.

Dang, this might just work! Only one problem though, I still won't have a proper home for my deer head. Oh well, when you live on a boat, certain sacrifices have to be made.

Okay, I'll give $2.00 to anybody who can tell me how to shrink the first picture I posted on this thread so I can use it as my avitar.

Paul thinks I should show a close-up of my Hatteras BubbaKeg, but I like this one better.
