I'm working on it, but I think I screwed something up. I'll try a few more, then I'm going to bed. I'll figure this thing out and post some more tomorrow.

Ever see a steel Roamer? I hadn't. Guy claims to have over 100k in it, will take 50k or b.o.

Im glad there is a Roamer there to add a little class to the area!! Most (90%) are steel. Does yer old lady smile?? she reminds me of my ex #3-- she had permanent frown wrinkles!! ws

Ya know Bill, a Roamer was an experimental Commander. Thats my other vice, old Chris Crafts. In addition to the Hatt, I still have my Commander. It is #5. I get more compliments on the old CC. Dave

That was a really pretty boat! I knew Chris made wood, glass, and aluminum, but I never knew they made steel hulls. I've never owned a Chris myself, but they were certainly worthy of consideration.

Michelle smiles a lot, just not at me unless I'm headed out the door to FL. I guess that's a smile, I sure do see a lot of teeth when I leave! :D

PS I knew you would like that shot of the Chris!

Yah man--kind of. Roamer built steel tugs (small) during wwII. In '47 they built steel yachts (single diesel) . Somewhere in the 50s they started with "modern twins" until '59 when CC bought the division. After that they were virtually indistinguishable. Hardware / brightwork etc. Aluminum production started in '63-- mine is No.6. FG commanders debuted in '67 (?) and became my second choice--extra heavily built!! -- And the hardware surpasses Hatts by a mile!!
Yacht owners used to scoff at CCs etc as production boats, but the R & D cant be beat. Kinda like a BUICK versus a Lamborghini.
Hey Dave-- check out www.chicagoyachtsman.com-- click on for roamer lovers for some pics of another classic. Its cool when the $mm boys point at mine when I treat them to a show. ws

Little Randy Jr. always loves riding in "Daddy's big boat" or "Daddy's big truck"! He always keeps a smile on his face and mine! :D :D

I'm about to figure this thing out. I saved all my pics to my laptop that I had onboard, and the wife transferred them to the home computer I posted them on. Something got lost in the translation as to size, but I think I'll pull out the laptop and log on at the office to make things easier.

I used the photobucket.com method as suggested by Chris who guided me through. Then I just highlighted the picture I wanted to post, copied the link, and posted it to the reply. I just kept repeating the process until I reached the limit of 3 pictures per post. Pretty easy once you figure it out.

Thanks for the reply, and thanks to Chris for showing me how to do this stuff.

great pics Randy! That is a beautiful stretch of the river as you well know!

Randy,

Nice pics! looks like a lot of fun.

Mario

Hey Mario, fun is what it's all about! Working and being serious is only a means to an end. To that end, I don't work as much as I used to, and I'm not serious any more than I have to be! :D

Hey Woodsong, you missed the boat, literally! I made a post on my FSBO ad for Nancy Cay to that effect, and SOMEBODY zapped the whole listing. I would have zapped it myself, but I knew I had you and a couple of others looking to purchase her, and I thought they may not have seen the post where I said I had decided not to sell her right now. Oh well, go figure.
