  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
52' CONVERTIBLE (1983 - 1990)
should have not cut down the port side should have left it alone lower station controls are there. But i only use them when messing with a fish and that is not much. They are simple and clean made of sumbrella materials easy storage in the forward compartment. Cricket i did not want to loose space in the cockpit so i did not raise them. Also i could not figure where to put the ladder i did not want to attach it to the floor. Can not tell from this picks but the latter is new also. currentely making a new fiberglass cover to put in the place of the round cover in the deck it looks out of place. The new one will be painted with non skid as the rest of the deck.

I would never give up my cockpit controls. Most times I fish short handed or charter where it's just me and a mate. 90% of the fish I've lost I've lost at the boat. It takes two experienced people to wire gaff and boat most larger Gamefish.

Cockpit controls are a huge selling point when she's time to go on he market.

The controls are still there they are just lower.

How far did you cut down the cabinets, they look great, we have talked and wished for more seating in the cockpit.

If you take a close look you will see they are almost to the bottom of the gunal. you can look at the unfinished picks posted previously for a better look. found a old pick on my phone they are 19 1/2 inches off the floor.
