Pair of 1986 Mercruiser 454's w/ BW 2:1 gears for Sale

I have a pair of 1986 Mercruiser 340hp 454's with BW 2:1 gears for sale. The motors have 1300 hours on them. They also come with flo-scan twin scan's that were installed new in 2006. The price for the motors, gears, and flo-scans is $3,500. Please note that I will only sell the engines as a pair.

The Twin Scan GPH meter and the fuel flo-meters were bought brand new in 2005 and the Twin Scan Tach was purchased brand new in 2006. Brand new these will cost you over $700.

compression good? did they run well when you took them out? What were they in? Why did you remove them? Photos?

They came out of my 1986 33 Bertram FBC (see pic in my signature). The engines ran perfectly. I am re-powering with diesels this winter because I got a great deal on a set of RTO 6BTA's.

I had the compression checked last in Nov of 2004 as we were winterizing the motors. The results were as follows:

As in it's been in my yard for 3-4 years now. He popped the motor on the baron, so he's looking at 2 repowers. Now he's talking about trying to sell the trailer and if he could get a few hundred for the 20 he'd be good or just cut it up. So I'llk need a project after the tubb is done, and with CMP around seems like a natural. Would your motors fit either? or just to big?
