Cut your losses and move to a modern and more integrated system.
1) lead acid batteries are too energy inefficient when charging.
2) Lead acid 8 volt batteries are becoming less available.
3) repairs depend on available parts and technicians which are becoming scarce.
We remove so many old and barely functioning inverters for upgrades. The take outs are usually junk. It's such old technology that most companies won't invest in supporting them and I don't blame them.
