Those connecting cables should be of the same size as the ones leading to the main switch which are 4/0.

There are two 32VDC banks in parallel here. Each is pulling half the start load, guessing 350A. It's 1/0 which is good for 8 feet at 300A with a max 2% voltage drop. The longest piece is 2.5 feet. Where the two parallels meet it goes to 4/0 to the battery switch. I think it will be just fine.
