  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
52' CONVERTIBLE (1983 - 1990)
I am really having a heck of a time finding lights. Maybee i should say finding the correct lights ,
The 52 has multiple sizes and wattages. I have been trying to change out some of them but when i order and put it in always somthing wrong. Voltage wattage brightness and etc.
Wondering if anyone has seen a chart for example 5212 normal bub equals a 234 led or somthing like that.
When you go filter hunting they will cross refrence one mame brand for another or one number for another. Is this true with light bulbs crossing normal bulbs to led.
When i go to a store which has them (led) i understand what the package says but it does not work. (and naturally not a return polocy electronic items ) Its hard to change the instrument light so i thought i would make them all led. This would let them last longer.
Any help would be appreciated
Tim

Tim,
One of the sites i went to , maybe sailor sams had a comparison chart. ie 1156= this bulb etc.
This helped me decide which ones were correct the first time.

Vincent,
I replaced the overhead dome light on my bridge deck with one of the red/white alpenglow lights 2 years ago. I love it

Art,
I have the same light, same place on Lilly Marie. It is an excellent replacrment for the old dome light. Plenty of light when needed, and a red light for night vision underway.
