Onan 20kw gen 1989 model coolant sensor

Morning We are in Exumas & keep getting red fault button on gen. I think the coolant sensor may be reason pic attached

I am trying to figure out how to jump it has 3 spades. TEST, SIGNAL, & POSITIVE

Help greatly appreciated really need this gen run have temp bypass in place. The issue is it also bypasses the safeties.

Never seen one with a test terminal. These switches do go bad and I always carry spares along with oil pressure, flow etc. They can’t be fixed

Where are you in the Exumas? Your best bet is to order a new one and have it sent to Makers Air at Ft Lauderdale executive. They ll have it available in Staniel the next day. Check their website for details, great service and reasonable.

Thanks know about makers first want to test sensor. I can't find anyone who has seen this and manufacturer is clueless.
