Got my trailer back yesterday. Get this, State Farm contacted me two days ago and made me a settlement offer of $2,800. Current MSRP is about $7,500 and mine is 3 years old. Good neighbor huh? I'll be speaking with my agent today about an agreed value policy or dropping them.

Turns out it was stolen by a druggy with a $1K per day habit. When asked why he chose my trailer, he said he needed it to steal my buddy's lawnmower who lives about 1/2 mile from my office. He apparently saw the lawnmower while driving down the highway, then he saw my trailer, and the plan came together.

Wow a convicted druggy has the ability to plan better than our Government. They shouldn't arrest him then should hire him.

I'm sure Obuthead neads a gay covicted druggy on his staff that can plan. lol

Buy you one of them ball locks for the tounge, not really expensive but will be a deterrant. Now the real resource ful junky may have his bolt cutters and mini torch, but you can't plan for everything. and as for the good neighbor boys, I dropped their asses years ago for some of the same reasons. They don't mind busting your chops when it comes to premiums, but they all do. I am with Farmers Insurance Exchange. When my daughter hit the deer, the adjuster was there the next day, we agreed on a price and within 3 days had check in hand. the fastest service I have ever had from a claim. Netted about 25oo after deductable, parts were only 650. So rest is going on boat....not counting my labor of course. Which is going on the boat, LOL
