As aside, since most folks who will be attending NE Rendezvous seem to be getting together for lunch tomorrow, if you guys want to pick a different destination then Port Washington I'm fine with that. I too prefer the East End and will organize where ever this year.

As usual, quite the sport.

I call you if we find an alternative, thanks.

Great day Avenger, good idea.

Thanks

Thank you. I had a good time and it was great to see everyone.

We should do this more often.

Ditto what Derek said.
Let's organize a winter dinner so we can see Scott!
Babylon Bay shore Islip areas on a Thursday or Friday night ?
How about Feb 9th or 10th???

Glad I caught up with a number of you guys! My boys had a blast at this one, they were tearing sh*t up looking for every hidden compartment on probably over 100 boats. For what we do, I still like our boat better then anything we saw although Chris Craft had this 36' with a hardtop that I really liked the layout of http://www.chriscraft.com/models/launch-series/launch-36/

Feb 9th would be great for get together! Wife working night of the 10th.

Sounds good. My wife couldn't, ( that probably is wouldn't, she is out the door at 0600) do Thursday night. I'd attend.

Does an early dinner work on Sunday?

I'd be open to any of those ideas. If we're bringing the admirals an early Sunday dinner would probably work better for me.

Same here.

Feb 10th is N.G for me

I wasn't planning on bringing the admiral/better half/wife. Only brought up she was working Friday because I had to watch kids. Sounds like Thursday night works - anybody have a favored destination for the 2017 Winter Rendezvous?

Oh, no wives. Then we can enjoy ourselves. JK ;)

Thursday should be okay with me.

"Oh, no wives. Then we can enjoy ourselves."

Somehow that statement could have regret written all over it.

I'm ok for Thursday if the ladies aren't attending.

When we're out fishing my friends and I often joke about our wives being at home, sniffing the air and saying "I knew it! He's having fun!" Then they start thinking of some chores for when we get back.

It was intended to be humorous, and I'd be okay with the wives attending. Since my wife doesn't fish it would be good if she got out and had some fun now and then. Maybe I wouldn't have so many chores to do.

Now I really confused, if you want to have dinner with the Fisherman where the heck do I fit in??

This is very old but still very true:

A happy wife is a happy life.

Just guy's, I'm in for Thursday.

You're a diver. Pretend it's spearfishing.

Thursday evening is fine with me. Have we selected a venue?

Ok I bring my spear!

What time and where?

Thursday works for me.

Dan?
Scott

Patchogue? The OAR?
Babylon Argyle?
