Maybe this is optimistic, but at some point this Corona thing should ease off and instead of hiding from it we'll be ordering it at the bar. It also doesn't hurt to think of more positive things while we're all cooped up.

With that in mind, the Northeast Rendezvous is tentatively planned for July 31st thru August 2nd at Payne's Dock on Block Island. So mark your calendars and stay healthy. Summer's coming. :cool:

Hek, I picked a bad year to sell the ole' gal. Hopefully I'll make one more - I think it would be by lucky number 13 if I did :)

Hi guys!

Been a tough couple of weeks for our family! My brother-in-law passed away from corona virus complications and my father in law and mother in law are in their nineties.

We are all looking forward to the trip!

Stay safe! Nicer days are coming soon!
 
Sorry to hear about your loss. It's always a big difference when its famik not just numbers.

Here in Florida we are lucky enough to be distanced from the worst but I have a lot of family on the island and in the city I worry about.

Stay safe and healthy.

its positive effects are showing everywhere
 
I am sure this is having a crippling effect on the Block Island economy. Maybe as it gets closer things will change.

I hope all are safe.
 
Since it's come up, I looked at Payne's site and Dockwa and it appears that they will be open. What is everybody's feeling on proceeding? To risky, or can't wait to get out of the house?
 
I would certainly go, I didn't catch any thing looting is I am gonna be OK.
