Decided to take a look at the S57 charts. Downloaded one and Caris Easy Viewer, a free viewer with a link on the NOAA site. What I have been able to display is border line useless as a navigation chart. Anyone using these charts with success? If so, what software are you using, and is there a different viewer that actually displays what you can expect to see when using the charts with a PC based navigation product? For now I will continue to use raster charts.
