No Water in Vacuflush

So I haven't done any troubleshooting on this issue at all. When I recommissioned the master head from winterizing, the water does not pump into bowl when the foot pedal is pressed.

Is there a small solenoid valve or other actuating device that allows the water to enter the bowl when the foot pedal is pressed?

Think I have the 5000 Series toilet.

A mechanical valve is mounted between the foot pedal and base. Usually pretty reliable but once I did fix a problem when the plastic in the foot pedal deteriorated and did not move the valve.
To many heavy feet syndrome.

As Ralph said, there is a small valve with a nylon button riding on a ramp just above the pedal (on the mechanical, not electronic versions).

(On another note, the hose from that valve to the back of the toilet can sometimes have a pinhole which makes for a very difficult to diagnose leak. The PO on my boat actually cut a hole in the passageway floor to try and find this needle of spray obscured by the flusher's foot.)

Defenders usually carries them in Waterford. If you need one urgently, I have a spare on my boat in New Haven.

Btw, depending on how your head is positioned, you may not be able to see the heads of the 2 screws that hold the part in place. Use a 5/16" socket to remove them.

Well... after extensive troubleshooting... (just kidding).... solved the problem.... not a bad valve... not a clogged line.... the most hideous of all problems.... other people working on your boat and doing things they don't remember and actually shouldn't be doing....

As most of you know, I had a stabilizer system installed so there were lots of manhours by lots of people in my engine room. Evidently one of them shut off the unlabeled valve below... this just so happens to be the isolation valve for the master head toilet fresh water line..
