Over morning coffee I tried to explain my thoughts to my wife regarding the NEA’s apparent sell out to the president’s men, and she gave me a blank look. (She is younger and not as interested in 20th century history.) I turned to Google and discovered this fascinating site containing art as propaganda:

One example on the site:
This poster is probably from the 1936 referendum. The text: "Before: Unemployment, hopelessness, desolation, strikes, lockouts. Today: Work, joy, discipline, comaradarie. Give the Führer your vote!" Courtesy of the University of Minnesota Library.
Nothing to worry about, is there?
