Hatteras Model
43' CONVERTIBLE-Series I (1978 - 1983)
I am trying to figure what this type of clip is called so I can purchase new ones. (See attached picture)The clip in the picture attaches to a square plastic peg. The setup allows for two things to be fastened to get her but can be removed fairly easily. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I have racked my brain trying to locate these clips but I can’t figure out what they are called. Thanks!

If you think it is original, call the boat mfg.
Your comment may be confusing. The pics you sent are also confusing (to me).
Can you explain better what is does?
Can you send a pic of it in use?

Look like drawer keepers to me.

It is not original to our Hatt. The previous owner had plexiglass covers made to cover the helm electronics. These clips attached to a square peg on the helm to fasten the cover in place. The clip is about 1/2” x 3/4”.

Lets try this;
The pitch fork thingie attaches to that square whatch-a-ma-call-it???

Captain Ralph, you are correct. The “U” shape clip sits on top of the square peg that is screwed to our helm. The clip is attached to the plexiglass covers that go over the helm electronics. Over the years, the U clips have become brittle and have broken off. Thanks for your help and my apologies for not describing the clip and set up well!
