After almost 12 years at my airline, Arrow Cargo shut it's doors on the first of July leaving 450 employees on the street. which leaves me scrambling for a flying job which are few. I've gone back to basics and started to network in the corporate flying field again. Anyhow, I thought I'd post my resume here for all to see and hope it leads to something. Maybe i should have posted it in the "for sale" section... LOL
Airline Transport Pilot qualified by a combination of substantial flight time and enhanced by specialized professional training. Competent and knowledgeable with 21 years in the field of aviation with specific expertise in B-727, DC-8, DC-10 and various medium twin engine aircraft. Initial professional experience consisted of flight instructing (CFI) followed by a position as a full time corporate pilot for a private firm flying Cessna 421B domestically throughout the southeast. Recent experience consisted of a position as a Dc-10 Captain with Arrow Cargo (12years) with approximately 4 years as Pilot In Command and in Heavy Jet and wide body cargo aircraft. Extensive oceanic crossing experience in the North/South Atlantic and in the North/South Pacific. Extensive experience operating in Europe, Asia, Africa, Middle East as well as central and South America. Knowledgeable in “Special Airport” operations and high altitude airports. Familiarity with Air Mobility Command (AMC) military charter operations. Proven and verifiable flight and safety record. Adroit, agile, and physically fit, 39 years old. Capable, reliable and professional pilot. Superb interface with individuals of diverse cultures and backgrounds. Present a positive, professional image.
