On a serious note... I went to SC a few months ago to look at a 1964 41C. I thought it was strange that the cockpit sole seemed to be elevated. The owner informed me he bought the boat at a Federal Auction. It was a drug boat that had massive fuel tanks installed and the cockpit raise to accomodate them.

I wondered where that boat ended up after I switched off to a go-fast in the Bahamas last year!
