If you're talking from the turbo back, I would not do this to older parts. I would only buy NEW ones with hardcoat, but I wouldn't spend the money on the old ones.

What is Silkolene? I tried to find it on the internet and all I could find was sythetic motor oil. Is it something like permatex gasket sealer?

Kinda, but its made for high-temperature applications like exhaust systems.

You want "Silkolene 762"; here's the cheapest I've found it online.

That be the stuff..... not cheap but a tube will last damn near forever and its the RIGHT material to use on exhaust gaskets.

Note that it smokes like hell when it first gets hot - this is NORMAL.
