What happened to the Morning Funny. No updates for a week.

After 1.2 million views I was informed a few months ago that somebody thought I was way too gross. I was asked to tone it down which I did. A week or so ago I got an email stating one of the members was embarrassed by what he/she was reading and seeing on the morning funnies post. I decided to stop posting because it seems I can’t keep everybody smiling and happy as I intended. I spent on average 1 1/2 to 2 hours a day searching out things that would make people laugh and smile, now I’m going to use that time to work on my Hatteras.

Crud, I would say don't let a few bad apples ruin it for the rest of us, but I'm not in your shoes. After 13 or so years on samsmarine.com, this thread pretty much the single reason I still visit site every day. At minimum, when all other new threads and posts failed, this one always came through. If this truly is the end, know you have made me laugh, and many of my friends I have shared choice jokes with, more then anybody else I know. As a person who enjoys a hardy chuckle more then about anything else in life, I sincerely Thank You!

Sorry to hear that this is the end of the morning funny thread, I have enjoyed them all and passed many of them on , I haven't yet had one of the morning funnies open without me CLICKING on it, if someone was offended they offended themselves!

i dont recall anyone coming into my house with a gun and forcing me to click open the "Morning funny" everyday.

I can’t watch the news anymore; I think I’ve seen the visual of people getting injections at minimum, six times a day, every day…. the runner at the bottom of the TV giving the current death count and newly reported Covid numbers still bombard us. If EVER there was a time we all need somewhere to go to bring a smile to our face or a give us a chuckle, it is NOW. The Morning Funny gave us these things…… As everyone has stated (in response to the few who were “offended” or “embarrassed”) …. unless they were being held hostage and were being forced to view this page, my recommendation to them would be DON’T HIT THE LINK. What a crying shame we have come to this.
