Sorry I don't see the humor in your cartoon and it's far from funny. My daughter lives in Sammamish, Washington which is a neighboring town to Kirkland. Believe me, the media is reporting fact and is not dealing with hype. King County, the State of Washington, and the Lake Washington School District have done a yeoman's job in getting a disaster plan into action, Thank God they had disaster plans ready to implement and adapt to the situation. . If anything the media is spreading important information on how best to control the situation. As one who was involved in disaster planning in response to the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake I daresay you need to have plans in place for epidemics and natural disasters that can be implemented in short notice. You can't control the disaster but you can attempt of minimize the effects.
