  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
58' TRIPLE CABIN (1970 - 1976)
Is it too early to talk about the Miami show that's just two months away?

Not if one is a "TV STAR" like you.

never too early.

in fact a few days ago we were discussing just that with Angela... we're probably going to do another raft up, hopefully Mario will be able to join us this time so we can have 3 1510s together.

We have also decided that it was going to be a non alcoholic event so that nobody ends up passing out on the couch. :-)

Man, just when everyone was starting to get along...you had to go and blow it Pascal! There goes the guest list!

Looks like you might also have an 18'2" around this year; last year we were in the Keys and just drove up and back for one day at the show.

Couple of other Hatts here at Loggerhead Hollywood, a 34 sport fish "On Point", and "Avondale Lady", a big CPMY that used to be Dale Earnhardt's boat, owned by a nice couple from Nashville.

Judging from last year's reports, sounds like non-alcoholic is a good idea.

I resemble that remark!

That was pretty embarrassing and totally unplanned. I'm still thinking somebody spiked my Goose. Then again it could have been a lack of sleep and forgetting about eating supper beforehand.

I PROMISE there will be no repeat as I plan to hit the Cuban restaurant north of Ang's boat and eat a big helping of black beans prior to the party. How's your head working these days Pascal? Mind if I... :D

I will, sadly, miss the Miami Boat show this year. I'm activating (Army) for a few months for some training early next year and will miss the show. On the positive side I will save all sorts of money by not going to the show and being seduced by the latest "gotta have" item for the boat. Saved.... did I say saved. That might have been "gender specific logic" where by the act of NOT spending money can be constued as saving money.

Hoist one for me.

Here's to you Tim. Thanks for your service.

"WE"??? Who is "we"?

You mean Naomi and Susan won't be having any rum punch....just "punch"? Do they know that?

My dockmaster tells me that a bristol-condition 58' Hatt and a 80' Hatt are moving into Rickenbacker. However, when he saw the photo of the 58' Hatt, he doesn't think that one is a Hatt - we'll see. Regardless, if there are new Hatts coming to be my neighbors, I'll see if I can get them in on the raft up. However, I cannot promise totally non-alcoholic event, but I will say that unless you have a reserved room on Sanctuary, you need to be mindful of the drive home without exceptions. I'm expecting a full house this year. :D

But... but... but Jim said I could sleep with him again.

But...but...but...not if he brings his son! And our sofa is not an option - we don't let anyone sleep there, not even Ed. That's why we purposely did not put in a sleeper sofa.

You'll have to wait to see how that plays out, and of course, Jim is the boss of his own room. If he's by himself and invites you to sleep with him, then that's between the two of you (and the rest of us probably don't want to know). LOL

I DID NOT SLEEP WITH THAT MAN!!!

And I can say that in all honesty. Damn, and people tell me I snore!

Hey, as I recall the bow cushions were pretty comfy. Is it supposed to rain?

LOL, Bird, I didn't realize you enjoyed having me as a roomate so much. Careful where you go with this thread or someone might think you're a girly m......(never mind).

I'll also have you know that I only snore after I've had a drink or two and unfortunately for my son, he will have to endure a night of rafter rattling. (He'll bring ear plugs)

The bunks in the second stateroom are full but you're welcome to borrow a sleeping bag/air mattress and occupy the floor between the bunks. I'll try not to step on your head if I need to get up for anything.

OK, you're in charge of who occupies your room up to a point...only two guests per stateroom - that's in our rules. You'll have to pick one or the other. Hummmm...who's it gonna be? LOL

I'll try to make it to the raft up this year. I'm still mad about not making it last year...

We will bring Unity again. Our boat's transom door and low cockpit provide the perfect entrance for those coming from land on dingies. I just want to make sure you owners of those 1510 Behemouths don't squash us between you. We will happliy take the outside. I know that Sky is also trying to join us again this year aboard Unity. The non-alchoholic thing is cool. I can't wait.:)
