  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
58' TRIPLE CABIN (1970 - 1976)
Just booked my flight. Who all's going?

Not a single response yet, there Sparky???

OK, I'll bump this for ya. I'll be there! But, of course... :)

I don't want to get hit with any flying shrimp tails so I guess I'll pass. :)

Flying shrimp tails????

Guess I missed that.

Yeah, thrown from your back deck!

Well heck Sky, how was I supposed to know you were doing your business off Angs swim platform?

We will be there...C'mon Sky....Are we going to do the HOF get together again?

Hell Ang, you and Ed can throw me another private party if nobody else wants to play. Just don't make so much food this time. :D

We won't be able to do the raft up. I have moved Sanctuary from Rickenbacker Marina to Dinner Key Marina. Rickenbacker's location afforded us parking within eyesight of the raft-up so we could tender folks back and forth with relative ease.

At Dinner Key, there is no where to anchor/raft-up except for far out into the bay, beyond the marina and the moorings, and well out of eyesight of the marina. It just won't work there. Since I'm not a Rickenbacker slipholder anymore, we can't use their parking lot.

If all of the guests who will be staying aboard Sanctuary agree....we can host a gathering at the dock, but that will be up to them and it has to be a unanimous decision amongst them. Maynard is at the same marina as me, albeit on a different pier. Pascal is on the same pier as me, just across from me. There is plenty of parking at Dinner Key.

I don't have any plans as of yet but I'll see what I can do. I'd love to come down, but it just depends on when I can get away.

Ang, our anual boat show raft up is still doable at the stadium I think. If i'm not mistaken, extra parking is available "outside" of the Rickenbacker marina property on the left side as soon as you turn into the marina enterance.

If we do raft up, I'll be there and a friend with his new (to him) Hatteras 46C and another club member with his 38.

That's the overflow parking for the Rusty Pelican valet. Humm...Saturday night of Boat Show weekend/President's Day weekend/Valentine's Day weekend...I'm willing to bet they'll be using it.

I have had a cancellation on our charteryacht's bed & breakfast schedule for Miami Boat Show weekend. I wanted to throw the room availability out here to HOF members first before running the ad in my usual marketing places. Email or PM me if interested.

So Ang, are you at liberty to say who's on your guest list?

I'm assuming it's the usual crowd, but we've got to figure out a way to do the traditional boat show raft up. Seems to me there are plenty of places nearby to do that, and if attendees can't be at the boat at a given time, then it's just too bad.

If Pascal, Mario, and Maynard (or whoever) are going to participate, seems to me the easiest thing to do would be for everybody just to pick who they want to leave out with. That way we don't overload any particular area with parked cars. For that matter, there's no reason we couldn't designate an offsite parking area where we could all load up into one or two cars instead of showing up with half a dozen or more.

Most have said that Sparky is full of....well, you know what I mean. Here Sparky shows that some of his ideas are very good. I am not sure, but I think that last year, nobody was dingied out to our raft up fom shore. We have always used our boat's swim platform and transom door for the guests from shore. (Getting aboard is much easier on our little boat than a MY). I don't remember anybody coming aboard last year.:)

"Most"? :D

Sounds like you guys missed me last year. :)
