To one and all.

I am getting ready for church in a few minutes and then will come home and cook the Dinner Bell Ham. ( something that has been delegated to me the last couple years ) The family will be going to my folks house this evening.

So whatever your plans are, I hope each and every person here has a Merry Christmas and a safe and happy new year.

Thanks Paul!

Wife is on call this PM (Neonatal ward) through Tuesday AM. We are eating my cooking (cornish hens tonight).

Sometime Tuesday it's off to Beauford, SC (that's "beeewwford" to you Sneed Ferry/Swan Pt. natives) for a night on (Nobody You Know) , then off to the plywood hide-a-way on Holden - your neck of the woods!

Then it's off to Charlotte to be with family for the New Years weekend.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays ya'll!
(and especially to you too "Reggie" - wherever you are)!

Merry Christmas everyone!

Merry Christmas all. I did the family gig yesterday, Just wraping up loose ends today and then tomorrow AM - I'm on a one way flight to Ft Lauderdale for some R&R. I should be there by lunchtime. I'm hoping to stop by to meet some of the forum members in Miami - Angela, Pascal and of course I want to check in with Mario G to see how the 34 Sedan is doing after the trip south. Happy New Year everyone, and thanks for all of the help and friendly exchange here on the forum.

As you can see we are well on our way with our traditional Christmas eve BBQ pork. Sadly I won't get to taste it because I leave in about an hour for Chile  .

Eric, sorry I'll have to give you a rain check :( Unless you'll be here for New Years?

Hey, the Panthers won a game and beat the falcons :D

All to best to the great folks on this board! Wishing you and your family health and happiness!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to our forum family!

Merry Christmas to all and to all Good Night!

Happy Holidays, everyone! I'll be spending Christmas with "my girl", Sanctuary. My dad came to visit for the Christmas holidays. This was the first time he had ever seen the boat. He got here on Friday and is leaving Christmas Day morning, early. He's been seasick ever since he stepped foot on the boat, and we haven't left the slip. Thank God I didn't inherit that!

Looking forward to seeing you, SeaEric. For how long will you be in Florida? I'm still putting the boat back together after the lastest flurry of updates/renovations, but making good progress.

Ang, I'm in Fl for at least a month. I will give you a ring to make sure you're around. I can't wait to see your 58 and your projects!

Happy Holidays to all....my thanks to everyone for their contributions and time over the last year. One of the things that having the job of moderator has shown me is how much I don't know, not only about boats but about everything else in the world. The last year has been an informative experience, and like most of those, often humbling as well. I am grateful to the knowledgeable and energetic hands-on boaters who populate and enrich this site. This community gets better and better. I would also like to thank Doug Langley and my fellow moderators for all their help and supervision. I am probably the least computer-literate person on the forum, but I am learning. Even old dogs can do new tricks- we just fall on our faces a little more often during the learning process. But it's fun to watch us....

Thank you all, again, for all you've done for each other and this group over the last year. If we were all in the same room, I'd ask us to applaud ourselves and each other.

Best always,

Jim Rosenthal

Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday to everyone. It's been a great year on this forum. So many new people, so many smart people. I have learned a lot. I hope I have been able to help others as much as they have helped me. Have a Great Holiday. I'm down here in the Naples ,Cape Coral area just enjoying the sun. Added about 500 miles to my motorcycle visiting family and friends. I won't want to go home on the 8th. Have fun! :D

Merry Christmas to all of you. We are in a cold drizzly Detroit that, for some stupid reason, we call home. I am heading to Florida and my Hatteras 36 on Jan. 5. I will stay until March. We plan on travelling through the keys for about a week or so. We then have a slip, ( not a well, right Pascal?), in Ft. Meyers Beach for the month of February. We will return to Miami then either through the Lake Okachobe route and down to Miami, or back through the keys. March 9 we are hauling the boat at a yard on the Miami River. Bottom paint, swim platform work, and wheeling of the hull sides and transom will complete the task.

Maynard,
What marina will you be staying at on Fort Myers Beach? Way Maker is at the Sweet Water Landing on the ICW at the Wilson Pigot Bridge aka highway 31 bridge about 2-3 miles east of I 75. I live about 15 min from the beach.

If you need any thing while you are in Fort Myers call me, I will do what I can to help.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Mery Christmas and Happy New Year.
After seeing Marion's BBQ I think I am hungry again, I didn't think that could happen again for a month :p

Merry Christmas! Or Happy Holidays! if you are offended by Merry Christmas!

Unfortunately, there is was no Hatt time on Christmas this year as family came into town too briefly to include the boat. We did however take advantage of an incredibly warm and sunny Christmas Eve day and steamed a bushel of oysters over an open fire, while a wild pig "butt" from my in-laws property was smoking for dinner. Not the traditional turkey dinner, but man, was it all good!

I guess I wasn't totally Hatt deprived as I did get to spend a week on Sanctuary, well mostly "IN" Sanctuary, in the warmth of Miami, returning just a few days before the Holiday. I even finally got to visit Sam's in Ft. Lauderdale this trip! What a neat place, and neat people. I was granted a tour of the back room, and got updated on the state of tank level indicators, aluminum window extrusions, and other Hatty topics.

I hope you and yours were graced with peace and joy.
