Nice. Were any of these boats built with Series 60s or Series 2000, or was the timing not right for them? Just curious.

the boat in the link to yacht world was a 52c a twenty yer old boat someone redid. But the GTs look just like that. I have a email in to Brodas Rose thinking he may have some thoughts.

Could go either way on the mask, if/when it turns into an expensive maintenance item then no. When the laminate starts popping, cracking, etc from the extra heat it just seems like an endless repair chase. Think I do prefer the bridge without the stripe. You could cover yours with white masking tape to see what it looks like as an easy test.
Anyone know what a black wrap do heat wise across the front? Would there be any difference in the amount of heat transfer compared to paint?

It's a shame the ER on the linked 52 isn't as nice as the rest of the boat.

This 52 has 1050hp MANs, could provide a lot of info for a repower.

There's a reason they don't paint composite aircraft or UAV's dark colors the heat can deform the wing structure.

Tim, one of the big differences on today's Hatts is the length of the bridge floor overhang above the cockpit. We extended ours which really enhanced bridge usability but also created a ton of shade for the cockpit. Check out G-Force's bridge floor extension on his 55 for more relevance to your 52.
