Hi, I'm new to the marquipt system and have a question;I'm buying a 54 my with a 8 step stair. Problem is, the stairs cover half the pier (sorry if that's the wrong term) blocking traffic. Can I remove (how?) two steps for a steeper climb in order to take up less space on the pier? I see that single steps are available to order, so I was wondering if this is a modular system? (haven't had the chance to look at it properly, just reviewed my photos from the visit when I bought her.

Marquipt makes a platform that allow you to rotate the stairs to get them out of the way.

Your boat looks great sky. Brightwork is gorgeous.

As to the steps sticking out too far or making them steeper that's a quest ion we can't answer without more information.

Too steep will get dangerous. Maybe move them 90 degrees so they run parallel to the boat with a platform like in the picture or the simpler one I've seen too.

Worst case you might trade your 8 step for a 6 step. Or sell yours and buy a 6 step.

ok - thanks for your input!

I had the same problem. Buy the angle platform from Marquipt. It works great!
